CMC team get their hands dirty for community project

The CMC Team got to work recently to help the Return to Foundations community project in Sydney.

The project by CMC Indigenous Services in partnership with Aboriginal Hostels Limited will see a large-scale refurbishment of the Kirinari Hostel.

The project includes a purpose-built learning hub, a recreation room and the restoration of a basketball court and picnic area for the students at the hostel.

A team from CMC braved the Sydney heat to complete the landscaping, general gardening maintenance and replanting part of the project.

CMC Indigenous Services Managing Director Michael O'Loughlin and Pathways Ambassador Adam Goodes led the team made of staff and landscapers who planted new shrubs in garden beds and restored the picnic area.

The project will continue with updates posted over the coming months.
